The mallets hit the gears are always turning
and everyone inside the mechanism

But when I do the dishes
I run the water very very very hot
and then I fill the sink to the top with bubbles of soap
and then I send all the bottle caps I own a float

and then I slip my hands in and start to make waves

it tastes like soap but it doesn't really taste like soap
and then I lower in my whole mouth in and take a gulp

Aw man! That was a great commercial and I would love to hear the rest. I wonder if she can sing it like that all the time or if she just warbles it differnetly with each performance. Either way, I’m impressed.

What I’d like to know is where she’s from. She’s got a really different voice… Very nice.

Just love the song but I remember my mother singing it to me as a baby – a beautiful melody though lyrics do not match? Sort of like the “manequines” in the “Twilight Zone.” Anyway, no one has mention the fantastic art about the commercial…how the model gets around in two pieces go unnoticed. The Penny’s commercial is put together very, very well!! Way to go J.C.!
